General duties could include:-

Packing of furniture ready for despatch. Can involve heavy lifting.

Assembly of furniture ready for packing and despatch. Using hand tools, prvious DIY experience advantagous.

Machine Operating - Loading of press machines, operating machines, quality checking.

Despatch - involves picking orders to send to customers. Loading of vehicles ready for despatch.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm.

The role will be a supporting one to the Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of documentation of PFMEA, PPAP, control plans, gauge R & R, SPC and work instructions. Project tracking due dates and document submissions is also required. Problem solving skills will also be required. Experience with 8-D and /or 5 Why would be advantageous although not essential. Whilst the above would be ideal a candidate who has been exposed to the PPAP process previously and who has a good aptitude for learning would be considered. Further training will be provided.
